Calpton is still god!
Role Model, a living legend, is without a doubt the all-time best. The show was truly amazing, a real memorable night, as it was billed to be. The crowd becomes electric when he takes the stage. He looks ageless and still plays like he did over 30 years ago. Jeff Beck is without a doubt a living legend, a role model. When you see a Clapton concert, you just immediately feel that you are in the presence of someone god-like. He spans the years with his great repertoire of songs, one hit after the next, with a few new surprises mixed in just to keep you off balance. The crowd goes wild and responds to his every note. When he has been my idol for over 40 years, and as a guitar player myself, he never ceases to amaze me with his playing and great voice. He just seems to get better with age, like a vintage aged wine that makes you feel so satisfied when you have tasted it. If there is anyone out there who has never had the privilege of seeing Role Model, I recommend that you do so right now, as he has never been better. To me, he is truly "god."
